Coodham is located just a short drive from Scotland’s most famous West of Scotland golf courses. Nearby open qualifying courses, Irvine Bogside, Glasgow Gailes and Western Gailes are considered to be among the finest golf courses in Scotland. There are three championship courses; Prestwick, the original open course with its special connection to Coodham, Royal Troon, which hosted the open in 2004 and Turnberry in 2009.

There are exceptional facilities nearby for sailing as well as canoeing, surfing and diving. Yachting facilities are also available in the marinas in Troon, Largs and Inverkip.
Some of south West Scotland’s best Salmon and Trout fishing are available in the area’s lochs and rivers.
Ayr, a famous town just a short distance from Coodham, offers excellent shopping facilities and a great selection of bars and restaurants. South Ayrshire includes a coastal network of scenic towns and local villages. Steeped in history these charming local villages offer many places of interest as well as restaurants and bars.
